This is to remind Members of the Manufacturers/ Suppliers obligations, which are to submit MSDS s under the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulation 2001 with regard to supply of hazardous substances and dangerous goods. We are told that there has recently been some evidence in NSW that the provision of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), as required by manufacturers and suppliers, has not always been complied with. WorkCover NSW would like to urge associations to remind their members of their obligations under the Regulation.
